: "Center City Commuter Connection (Commuter Tunnel)" - made updates to this article, including links to external websites, plus new format and cosmetic changes. 8-10-2003:
"I-76 Schuylkill Expressway" - when I developed this article back in 1998, I was planning on eventually developing a far more comprehensive article; but other highway private websites have since then developed comprehensive articles about it, so I have links to their sites. I added details of the widening project that was planned in the 1970s, to widen the 4 lane section of I-76 between US-1 City Avenue and I-476, a distance of 8 miles, to 6 lanes. I made cosmetic and format changes also.
8-10-2003: "I-676 Vine Street Expressway" - when I developed this article back in 1998, I was planning on eventually developing a far more comprehensive article; but other highway private websites have since then developed comprehensive articles about it, so I have links to their sites. I made cosmetic and format changes also.
7-6-2003: "Regional Commuter Rail" - when I developed this article back in 1998, I was planning on eventually developing a far more comprehensive article; but other rail transit private websites have since then developed comprehensive articles about it, so I've added links to their sites. I made cosmetic and format changes also.
7-5-2003: "Route 100 Light Rail Line (P&W RR)" - when I developed this article back in 1998, I was planning on eventually developing a far more comprehensive article; but other rail transit private websites have since then developed comprehensive articles about it, so I've added links to their sites. I made cosmetic and format changes also.
7-1-2003: "DE Route 1 - Korean War Veterans Highway" - this article was created with the title "The Relief Route (Delaware Route 1)" on 8-14-1997, and the article received major updates and the title was changed to "DE Route 1 - Korean War Veterans Highway" on 7-1-2003. The revised article has sub-links to
"DE Route 1 - Section Details" (new), and "C & D Canal Bridges" with 3 aerial photos (revised).
"Chesapeake and Delaware Canal (C & D Canal)" - new article about the 14-mile long sea-level canal which crosses the northern Delaware/Maryland peninsula, and which connects Chesapeake Bay to the Delaware River. Map and photos included.

9-28-2001: "Center City Commuter Connection (Commuter Tunnel)" - expanded the article with major additions, using a new source, "Philadelphia Finally Gets its Tunnel", an article in Mass Transit magazine, April 1979, by David C. Hackney, transportation reporter for the newspaper Philadelphia Bulletin. The new material is in these sections of my article - "Early Planning for Commuter Tunnel", " Mayor Frank Rizzo's Influence on Commuter Tunnel Project", "William Coleman Approves Federal Funding for Commuter Tunnel", and "Market Street East Redevelopment Area and the Gallery".

8-20-2000: I have obtained a new web hosting service for my "PENNWAYS" website, and I have completed moving all the articles. I have also obtained the domain name www.pennways.com. So my "PENNWAYS" main page is now at --- http://www.pennways.com. I made numerous small improvements also, updating old articles, fixing dead links, adding new links, adding new information. I've extensively tested all the links and files on the new website. IMPORTANT - for those who link directly to my articles, please check the pennways.com article link to make sure that you get the right address, because I changed some of the .html and .jpg file names to make them more intelligible. The overall logical layout, content and functions of the "PENNWAYS" website on pennways.com are very similar to that of the old website. [counter 13,002]
